Dear business partners,

The year 2025 is drawing to a close – and we would like to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’.

It has been a challenging and intense year, but we have mastered it together, with great mutual trust and a strong sense of connection. For this, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you!

However, 2025 was also a year that showed how much people and organizations that are not always in the spotlight need help and support. We have therefore decided to refrain from sending greeting cards and gifts again this year. Instead, we are providing financial support to the work of the Bremer Seemannsmission e.V..

The Bremer Seemannsmission offers seafarers from all over the world a home away from home – regardless of nationality, religion or culture. This service to people is mainly provided by volunteers.

We wish you and your loved ones, as well as all seafarers, a peaceful Christmas season, a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year, especially good health.

From 09 to 11 June, the London Cargo market will come together at Birmingham for the International Cargo Insurance Conference (ICIC) 2025 for their annual gathering.

Our Managing Director Franz Kasten will attend the event. Take the opportunity to have a chat with him. You can either meet him on-site, or just drop us a message and we will bring you both together.

In our function as Lloyd’s agent for the D-A-CH region, we will be attending the British cargo insurance conference ICIC (International Cargo Insurance Conference) in London from 10-12 June 2024.

As CESAM agent, our Managing Director, Franz Kasten, will take part in the annual transport insurance conference of the French market in Paris from 24-25 June 2024.

Our Managing Director, Franz Kasten, has taken part in a conference on ‘Containers from A-Z’ from 9-11 April 2024 in Bremerhaven as a speaker and permanent guest of the GDV Loss Prevention Working Group and gave a presentation on “Damage patterns on goods in containers”.
