History
Tradition and innovation go hand in hand at Reck & Co. We have over 175 years of experience in reliable claims adjustment and transport loss prevention.
1848

It is the time of the great wave of emigration from Bremen and Bremerhaven to the USA. Together with his merchant friend Diederich Cordes, Friedrich Reck founded F. Reck & Co. on 15 September 1848 in Bremen. The “Equipment and Food Supplier for Ships and Emigrants” flourished.
1854

At time, the Reck fleet consists of eight sailing ships.
